West Palm Beach, FL - Miss Covergirl FL Pageant has announced its fourth pageant and expo set for December 14, 2013 that will take place at Saregama Lounge in West in Palm Beach. The organization's signature event hosted in conjunction with the magazine "15 and Sweet 16" features live fashion shows, music, flowers and event planning displays and a grand prize giveaway of $5,000 for a dream Quinceañera or Sweet 16 party. It also includes a bridal expo, with a $10,000 grand prize toward a dream wedding.
This year in addition to giving the girls a chance at their dream party, Miss Covergirl FL Pageant has partnered with MCI Institute of Technology and is giving away over $57,000 in scholarships to women 17-26 years old. These scholarships will be applied toward a field of study of their choice at MCI, where a typical program runs between $12,000 and $17,000.
"Our commitment to the youth of South Florida goes beyond helping them achieve their Sweet 16 or Quinceañera party dreams. It is important to support these girls as they invest in larger dreams as well, beginning with a solid education that will have a positive impact for a lifetime," says Marielis Rivera, VP of the Miss Covergirl FL Pageant.
Past events organized by the pageant and "15 and Sweet 16 Magazine" have drawn crowds of over four thousand at the West Palm Beach Convention Center and area hotels. Miss Covergirl FL Pageant include South Florida girls and young women of all ethnic backgrounds.
The organizers, who are Hispanic business entrepreneurs, are very proud to announce the addition of the scholarship component of the Pageant during Hispanic Heritage Month. They point out "events such as these have promoted young girls to be strong, confident and work towards their goals."
