April 10, 2020

Palm Springs, FL - (by CRL Media) - Helix Urgent Care announced today it is providing Back-to-Work Evaluations for any Essential Employee. Florida Health Guidelines effective April 3, 2020, provide for Test and Non-Test based methods to clear essential personnel for work. These new guidelines provide the fastest path for first responders, law enforcement, medical personnel, and other essential personnel to return to work judiciously.

Helix locations in Deerfield Beach, Palm Spring, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta and Stuart will be accepting patients in need via appointments. Helix will also provide on-site services to Employers seeking immunity status to certify back-to-work plans and risk management.  Telemedicine Online visits may also be requested for eligible patients.

As reported by state health officials by April 8, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide jumped to 13,324, an 8 percent increase in roughly 12 hours. In Palm Beach County, 1,069 people have been diagnosed, a 7 percent increase since Sunday night.

According to Robert Rodriguez, CEO of Helix Urgent Care “safely returning to work for the masses requires developing test base and non-test-based strategies.  Testing is ramping up across South Florida, but we have a long way to go.  Florida Health Department, however, is updating its guidance to ensure we help everyone get back on their feet safely and as quickly as possible. We are following their lead.”

Helix Urgent Care CEO went on to add, “having qualified medical teams clearing personnel is of great need and we hope to be a part of getting this done.”

Helix Urgent Care is advising essential employees to call 888-94-HELIX to confirm their appointment. Employers can ask to speak to Business Development for on-site or in-office evaluations or by emailing bizdev@helixcares.com
