New St. Jude Walk/Run Date

St. Jude Walk/Run in Miami
St. Jude Walk/Run November 11, 2017 event will benefit patients and families
St. Jude Children Hospital - Walk/Run event

St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer rescheduled for November 11th, 2017 in Downtown West Palm Beach

November 6, 2017

West Palm Beach, FL - by CRL Media - After postponing the event as a result of Hurricane Irma, the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer in West Palm Beach has been rescheduled to November 11th, 2017.

The event, originally scheduled for Sept. 16/23, will benefit patients and their families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

We hope the upcoming event can serve as an opportunity for our community to gather together as participants, volunteers, sponsors, employees and spectators to support patients battling childhood cancer, to honor survivors and those we have lost their battle to this disease.

The entire West Palm Beach community is invited to participate in the event, which will feature a patient family speaker, family friendly activities and live entertainment. Registration for the walk/run for adults and children ages six and up and $10.00.

Register, volunteer, make a donation or learn more about this event at stjude.org/walkrun.

St. Jude recognizes that the West Palm Beach community has been through a lot recently with the impact of Hurricane Irma which is why we chose to move our event to a later date.

Thanks to generous donors and events like the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. With the support of participants, donors and more, we can end childhood cancer together.
